Synopsis of Ozark Season 3 on Netflix: Between Business & Money Laundering

Ozark third season airs on Netflix paid streaming service starting today, Friday (3/27/2020). Netflix released the trailer on March 5, 2020. Until now, March 27, 2020, at 14:00 WIB, the two-minute and 22-second video has aired more than 1.5 million times.

In Ozark’s first season, the story begins when Marty forces his family to be involved in an escape while notifying him of all his criminal acts. In the second season, Marty (Jason Bateman) brings his family to the money laundering business.

Reporting from Collider, for Ozark the third season, the story will increasingly explore business as a form of money laundering. But this time, Marty and his wife, Wendy (Laura Linney), begin to fight and weaken each other.

At the end of the second season, Marty had successfully opened a casino, one of his efforts to launder money. The business is going well, or at least looks good. But Marty felt uncomfortable doing money laundering through the casino; he was worried that someone would be watching him.

Their relationship began to strain, even need to see a partner therapist. As the therapy process progresses, it is revealed that Marty is paying the therapist to make sure everything goes according to his wishes. Their relationship is increasingly complicated.

Before the family’s internal problems were resolved, there was another problem when Omar, their boss, was in a dangerous situation in the middle of a deadly cartel war in Mexico. Do not stop there; the FBI is also still trying to pursue them.

Several other old players will still be joining this third season, including Garner, winner of the Emmy Awards for the Best Supporting Actress category last year. Other actors and actresses who joined included Ruth, Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaertner, Julia Garner, Carson Holmes, Kevin L. Johnson, McKinley Belcher III, Robert C. Treveiler, Nelson Bonilla, and Jessica Frances Dukes.

Ozark’s third season will contain ten episodes. For the first and second seasons, each also contains ten chapters. Some directors for this third season are Jason Bateman, Alik Sakharov, Amanda Marsalis, Benjamin Semanoff, and Cherien Dabis. As for the screenwriter Paul Kolsby, Martin Zimmerman, Ning Zhou, and Chris Mundy.
